A Simple Technique To Make Money Online on YOUR Time

...for those with a strong will and an unbreakable spirit...
Now then, what should you write your articles about?
As I mentioned before, people go to Google and type in search words so they can find info they want and need.
Those words they type in are called "keywords". The longer and more-specific phrases are what we call "long-tail keywords".
What people all over the world search for is kept in databases. There are tools that use these databases that can tell you what keywords people are searching for and how often they are searching for them.
These tools make it easy to find out how many times a day people all over the world are searching for one certain phrase...Kinda cool, isn't it?
Why would that matter?
If, for example, 5,000 people a month are typing "how to cook healthy" into Google, wouldn't you want YOUR healthy eating article to sit in those search results Google returns to the searcher? That way, people looking for your topic of information find YOUR article, they click through to read it....and then they click your domain name in your author resource box to go to the sales page.
THAT is what we want!
So we want to find the phrases (the keywords) people in our market are typing into Google to find information.
Oh, and we don't want them to be very competitive either!
Every keyword has competition. If you type something into Google and get thousands or millions of web pages returned, those other web pages are the competition - they are trying to be found, too!
In everyday business language...
The volume of search a keyword has is it's "demand",
and the other web pages that come up for that search are it's "supply".
That's right, it's good ol' "supply and demand" in action on the internet, too!
We, as online marketers, want to try and rank in Google for keywords that have a good demand, but a low supply. This means it is less competitive for us....therefor, it should be easier for our articles to rank higher in Google and be found by searchers.
So, How Do We Find Low-Competition Keywords?
The process of finding keywords for online marketing is called "keyword research" and while there are long, drawn-out ways to do it for free, it is best to use a keyword research tool.
In my opinion, the best tool for keyword research that is perfect for The DAM Way is the keyword research tool that comes free to Wealthy Affiliate members.
Not only is the entire Wealthy Affiliate University site incredible and such an asset for those that are serious about making money online, they also have some fantastic tools that are simple to use. All of it comes for one low price each month.
I HIGHLY recommend that all that are new to internet marketing to get inside Wealthy Affiliate so you learn properly.
I have been a member there for quite some time and you can find me in their private forum just about everyday.
Why? Because it is super easy for this technique. This tool ranks the keywords so you can easily see which keywords to use - and which NOT to use.
It is a HUGE time-saver and can make your work much more effective for you.
I also recommend the keyword tool I showcase at Niche-Keywords.org. This tool does NOT come with Wealthy Affiliate or make you a member, but it is a good stand-alone keyword tool.
OK, lets take a look at how I find the keywords to use for The DAM Way articles.
Once you watch this video and see how easy it is by using this tool, you'll understand why I recommend it.
Remember those phrases you wrote down/or pasted in your notes back when you found a product? You'll need them now.
note: If you'd like to watch the video in full screen - start the video, hold your mouse over the video, then click the white box icon at the bottom right. You can simple hit "esc" - escape" to return to this page
That tool does it all FOR you - and that's why I love it AND recommend it.
Now, just take that list of keywords and write one article for each keyword.
You article should be about 350-400 words (but must be at LEAST 250 words). Just write as you'd write an email to someone answering their question.
Be sure to break your article up into paragraphs (people don't like to read big blocks of text so make it easy on the eyes). Lists and bullet points go over well and they keep the readers eyes moving down your article (towards your resource box).
Then, as the video shows, write out your bio box in a way that encourages someone to click on your link (inspiring curiosity works well here).
You will get better and better writing articles as you get comfortable doing it. The hardest article is the first one.
Remember, as the video said, you can use as many different pen names for your articles as you'd like - you do NOT have to use your own name (you only need to use your real name to sign up, but that name does not have to be on your articles).
I like the idea of using a different pen name for each "topic" you are writing on. Say you write some articles for gardening and others for child care - you might consider those being 2 different pen names so each topic is grouped under one author.
When writing, try and get your keyword in the first part of your article title, and in the article itself once or maybe twice. This helps Google understand what your article is about. No need to over-do it, though! Too many keywords stuffed in an article is called "keyword stuffing" and that will probably get your article rejected by EzineArticles.com. Just write naturally.
I also like the idea of writing 5 articles and then submitting those articles to EzineArticles, then write 5 more, then submit 5 more, etc. That way, you'll have a fresh batch of articles newly published on the site as they are approved. This way, you have new articles showing on the site each day instead of a bunch one day and then none for some time until you write more.
However, if you can only write ONE article a day - then just do that.
Write one and then submit it. This is something you do on YOUR time schedule - just try to do at least one thing everyday so your dam is constantly growing.
When you are ready to submit your articles to EzineArticles for approval, just follow the steps in this video from the folks at EzineArticles.com:
Note: EzineArticles has a lot of very helpful videos that will most likely answer all your questions. You can find all those videos here:
Everyday you put articles online at EzineArticles. These articles attract those that are interested in your topic. A percentage of your article readers will click your link in your author resource box and go to the sales page. Then, a percentage of those people will buy.
And YOU make a commission!
Just a quick note: There are LOTS of article directories out there on the internet that will let you submit your articles for free. You do NOT have to use EzineArticles. Just type free article directories in Google and you will find TONS of them that you can use.
The DAM Way works for any product you can be an affiliate for on just about any article directory you can find. Just be sure to read the rules of any site you want to work with or work on so you stay within their terms of service.
Now, let's go over some important info and give you a quickie checklist....
