Ever heard of "call forwarding"?  How you can set your phone to ring to another phone number?


The solution for the direct article marketing obstacle is very similar to that "real life" example of call-forwarding.


What we do for The DAM Way is this...


We buy a domain name (a website name) and then we set it to forward through our affiliate link to the sales page we want to promote.


I KNOW that sounds intimidating and hard, but don't give up on me here.  It is actually VERY simple to do.  It is also allowed by many quality article directories therefor, it is what makes The DAM Way work - AND it keeps you from having to make web pages or any of the other complicated stuff we'd have to do otherwise.

Simple. Uncomplicated. Inexpensive.  Now we're talking!

This domain "call forwarding thing" is called a Top-Level Redirect (if you want to know the official term).

All in all, that is just a fancy-dancy term for buying a domain name so that the main part of it (the www.mydomainname.com part) forwards to another web page.

Just like you can get your phone number to ring to another phone number you can get your website address to end up on another website.

You "dial up" one website "phone number" and it "rings" a different website "phone number".

We have to start with what product you will promote.

You DO want to make money, right?

(just a note:  domain names are NOT expensive.  A .com domain name only costs about $10 for a year of registration.  You can get a .com, a .net, a .org....whatever you want, but a .info is the cheapest and currently runs about $2 for a year of registration.  You don't need anything else - no website hosting or anything like that - just the domain name.)
